We are always seeking qualified project managers, assistant project managers, and estimators. (See typical position descriptions below). Most of our projects are located in the greater Boston area. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, and CADD experience is a plus.

Project Manager: This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation of electrical projects for our institutional, educational, and commercial clients; our projects are up to $2 million in size. Responsibilities include: regular communications with clients; coordinating vendors and vendor product data and equipment deliveries, subcontractor submittals, drawings and schedules; preparing closeout documents, such as maintenance manuals, operating instructions, record drawings, etc.; and preparing monthly requisitions and cost-to-complete forecasts.

Estimator: This position is responsible for providing estimates and bids for our electrical projects; our projects are up to $2 million in size. The Estimator meets with the client, visits the job site, identifies the client’s needs, and prepares proposals based on the client’s needs. Responsibilities include: reviewing and understanding plans and specifications; taking off electrical, fire alarm, and related systems equipment and material with estimating software, and identifying labor and material costs; communicating with subcontractors and suppliers; and identifying project and schedule issues. Proficiency in estimating software is a must.

Assistant Project Manager: This position assists Bent Electrical project managers and estimators in scheduling various electrical projects and is involved in system installation and maintenance. Responsibilities include: coordinating vendor product data and equipment deliveries, subcontractor submittals, drawings and schedules; and preparing closeout documents, such as maintenance manuals, operating instructions, record drawings, etc.
